Man Who Filmed UP School Video Sheds Light On Incident

The controversy surrounding the viral video from Neha Public School has taken a complex turn with conflicting statements emerging from different parties involved. The video, in which teacher Tripta Tyagi instructs students to slap a Muslim child, sparked outrage and debates on the communal aspect of the incident.

Amit Malviya of the BJP released a statement from the cameraman amid the outcry, which seemed to indicate that the incident was not of a communal nature. The video's recorder claims that the thrashing of the Muslim boy was motivated more by academics than by religious bigotry. 

He said the teacher had ordered the punishment because Muslim women frequently take their children to see their parents, causing the children to miss school. The man admitted that the viral video had been doctored.

Tripta Tyagi, who was booked under bailable sections in connection with the incident, defended her actions, stating that her approach was justified and supported by the villagers. She maintained that while laws have been established, school children still need discipline and control. 

In an interview with NDTV, Tyagi expressed no remorse, asserting that she had served the village as a teacher and had the backing of the community.

Politicians and celebrities alike spoke out against the teacher's insulting comments once the situation began to develop. But soon emerged conflicting accounts, with the Muslim child's father insisting there was no sectarian dimension to the incident. 

He went on to say that his son had been slapped repeatedly by his classmates rather than by the teacher.

Tripta Tyagi denied any sort of community aim, although she did confess that she made a mistake by enlisting the help of other students in disciplining the Muslim child. The child's parents, she said, had begged her to be strict because of the boy's academic achievement.

The event has generated conversations about the best ways to keep schools safe and orderly, even if the teacher insists her actions were within the rules of discipline.
