Indian security forces have released sketches of two Pakistani terrorists behind the Poonch attack that killed IAF Corporal Vikky Pahade, offering a ₹20 lakh reward for information leading to their arrest.
Indian security forces have circulated the sketches of two Pakistani terrorists, who are stated to be behind the ambush on an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir just some days ago. The attack culminated in the death of IAF Corporal Vikky Pahade and injured four other soldiers.
The authorities have declared a prize of ₹20 lakh for any information that comes in handy in the search for the two terrorists portrayed in the sketches.
The incident of tragedy hit the IAF convoy on Saturday night time around Shahsitar in Poonch district. 15 days ago, Corporal Pahade had just completed his duty of leave for his sister's wedding and was posted in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. He has left behind his wife Rina and his son Hardik.
Since the attack, armed forces have stepped up search operations in the Shahsitar region with dog squads and armed bulletproof cars being deployed to apprehend the terrorists. The commanding officer, including The Corps Commander of 16 Corps ADG Jammu Zone Anand Jain, was also at the site to oversee the operation.
"Many suspects have been taken into custody for interrogation," emphasized ADGP Jammu as the investigation moves at a fast pace.
The IAF saluted the gallantry of Corporal Vikky Pahade by conveying sympathy to his bereaved family. "In this hour of sorrow, we are with you side by side," read the tweet on the official IAF account.

During the hunt for the terrorists, the ₹20 lakh reward symbolically calls on the people to assist in arresting the culprits, and the state security agencies will be able to prevent further attacks on the security men.
