Monday morning, there was a significant incident at the Mahakal temple located
in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
Thirteen persons were burnt alive during the Bhasma Aarti on Holi when a fire broke out in the sanctum sanctorum. The fire was caused by the gull's blow. The Zulu people fulfilled the roles of servant and priest. All injured parties have been transported to the nearby hospital and are currently receiving treatment there.
The event at the Mahakal Temple resulted in injuries to several people, including Sanjay Guru, Vikas Pujari, Manoj Pujari, Ansh Purohit, Sevak Mahesh Sharma, and Chintaman Gehlot.

Neeraj Kumar Singh, the Ujjain Collector, also mentioned the usage of Gulal in the Bhasma Aarti ceremony. Today, on the day of Bhasma Aarti, Kapur was born in the temple's hallowed grounds. In the sanctum sanctorum, there were thirteen priests, all of whom have now passed away.
Those individuals have been admitted to the district hospital in order to obtain medical care. The wounds are all stable and being treated by medical professionals. No significant cuts have been found. There is nothing preventing the temple's darshan from proceeding as scheduled.
There aren't any issues in the temple. When the catastrophe occurred, the famous Jyotirlinga Mahak aleshwar temple was crowded with hundreds of worshippers.
Everyone was celebrating Holi, thus Mahakal was being used. The wounded servant reported that during priest Sanjeev'saarti, gulal was thrown at him. Deepak could be touched by Gulal.
The fire started because Gulal contained chemicals. On the other hand, growing flax there shielded the sanctum sanctorum's silver wall from color-gulal.
In these, the fire also spread. He stated that following the incident, several people were able to use fire extinguishers to put out the fire. However, Sanjeev Pujari, Vikas, Manoj, and Sevadhari Anand Kamal Joshi, thirteen of the people who had been in the inner sanctuary, had already left for Zulus before then.
Collector Neeraj Singh declared that directions had been given to look into this particular matter. It is now going to be examined by a committee.
