The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the apex body for civil services in the country, has released a short notice for recruitment to the post of Enforcement Officer (EO), Accounts Officer (AO), and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC). The selection will be done upon the clearance of the UPSC EPFO Exam 2023. The examination is held under the supervision of UPSC.    According to the short notification, a sum of 577 vacancies have been reported by the Union Commission. Out of the total number of vacancies, 418 are for the post of Enforcement Officers (EO)/ Accounts Officer (AO), while the remaining 159 are for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioners (APFC).    According to sources, a detailed notice will be released soon by UPSC on their official website later this week.   Applications for the job will be accepted online on the official website from the 25th of February and will continue till the 17th of March. • Document Verification: After a candidate is successful in the first two stages i.e. recruitment test and interview then the UPSC will forward the names of the successful candidates and recommend their names to the EPFO Head Office at Bhikaji Cama, New Delhi which will call for document verification. 

1. Medical Examination: For those candidates who are found eligible, EPFO Head Office will then refer them to a Medical Examination Board of their respective District Medical Board. On being found fit by this Medical Board the candidates will be finally issued with the appointment letters to go for training in EPFO’s National Training Academy namey   Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay National Academy of Training for Social Security, located at Janakpuri, New Delhi. 

  How to apply for the UPSC EPFO Recruitment exam 2023?  

• Visit the official website: https://www.upsc.gov.in/ for notification and https://upsconline.nic.in/ for applying for the recruitment. 
• Check for the notification and click on the "Apply now" button. Complete the registration by filing the required details to the best ability. Upon that, you will get a registration ID and a password on the email you provided during the filing of the form.
• Use the id and password to log in to the admission portal. Here, you will be asked to add further details about yourself. You will also be asked to upload documents. Check for the size and dimensions before uploading the documents. Once again, be very careful while uploading the details.
• Once completed, you will be guided to the payment section. You can pay through credit/debit cards, net banking, and UPI.
• Once the payment is done, click on the "Submit" button to submit your application. You will receive a piece of document validating your application. Keep a physical copy of the document, in case you need it in the future.
