The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released recruitment for the Trained Graduate Teacher or the TGT Group C posts.As per the official website, the total number of vacancies is 7471 for 18 different posts.The registrations for the exam will begin tomorrow, i.e. on the 23rd of February. The age limit set by the HSSC is between 18 and not exceed 42. However, upper-age relaxation is only available for reserved categories.Candidates applying for the job should compulsorily have a Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or a School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) certificate for the subject they wish to apply. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/D.El.Ed/B.Ed.The candidate is also required to have Hindi/Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matriculation or Higher.The pay scale varies significantly, starting from Rs 9,800 to 34,800 respectively. The pay grade is fixed at Rs 4,600. The selection process for the posts is mostly exam based (95%), while there are also socioeconomic and experience criteria counting for the rest 5%. Candidate has to fill out OMR sheets for the exam. All the questions will be compulsory, and there will be no negative marking. The question paper for the exam will be bilingual and have both English and Hindi. The application fee for General is Rs 150 per head, while the fees for reserved categories and women are Rs 35 and Rs 18, respectively.

How to apply for the post?
Click on the "HSSC TGT 2023" registration link. Complete the registration by filing the required details to the best ability.
After registration, fill out the application form. Here, you will be asked to add further details about yourself. You will also be asked to upload documents. Check for the size and dimensions before uploading the documents. Once again, be very careful while uploading the details.
Once completed, you will be guided to the payment section. You can pay through credit/debit cards, net banking, and UPI.
Once the payment is done, click on the "Submit" button to submit your application. You will receive a piece of document validating your application. Keep a physical copy of the document, in case you need it in the future.
