The greatest hospital in Gaza was destroyed by the most recent Israeli siege, according to a study released by the World Health Organization on Saturday. All that was left was a "empty shell" and a huge number of dead.

After more than two weeks of military action, Israeli soldiers left the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City on Monday. Tedros expressed disappointment that the World Health Organization (WHO) and other humanitarian organizations had not been able to successfully restore basic services following Israel's first devastating attack on Al-Shifa Hospital last year.
