NCP's Supriya Sule accuses BJP of insulting Nawab Malik, trapping Ajit Pawar's group in Maharashtra's political landscape. The controversy arose after Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis objected to Malik's seating in the state assembly.

Sule condemned the BJP for its treatment of Nawab Malik, terming the party as 'Bhrashta Jumla Party.' Fadnavis wrote to Ajit Pawar expressing reservations over Malik, currently on medical bail amid ED allegations.

Malik, facing ED charges, attended the state legislature session and sat alongside Ajit Pawar's faction. The opposition criticized BJP's shifting stance towards Malik, previously labeled a 'traitor' due to alleged dealings with Dawood Ibrahim's associates.

Fadnavis highlighted Malik's legal situation, expressing concern over his inclusion in the 'Maha Yuti' alliance. He conveyed BJP's reluctance to accept Malik given the serious allegations against him.

The BJP stressed that while Malik holds the right to attend as an MLA, his inclusion in the alliance might not align with its values. Despite Malik's association remaining unclear within the NCP factions, the BJP continues to express concerns over his presence in the alliance.

The letter emphasized the delicate nature of alliances, signaling apprehension over Malik's impact on the coalition's integrity. Fadnavis reiterated that while it's Ajit Pawar's prerogative, every alliance member should consider the alliance's welfare.

This political rift signifies mounting tensions within Maharashtra's political realm, drawing attention to the BJP's reservations over Malik's involvement in the ruling coalition.
