The Republic Day 2024 parade in India showcased the strength and accomplishments of women, featuring cultural performances, military contingents, and technological advancements. The event highlighted women's contributions across various fields, emphasizing unity in diversity.

The Republic Day 2024 parade in India was a mesmerizing celebration of "women power," featuring a cultural extravaganza called "Vande Bharatam-Nari Shakti." The event, held on Kartavya Path, showcased 1,500 dancers performing 30 distinctive folk and classical dance styles, symbolizing unity in diversity. Traditional masks and artistic objects from different regions added a touch of tradition and diversity.

India marked its 75th Republic Day with a focus on 'Nari Shakti' and 'Viksit Bharat.' The All-Women Tri-Services contingent, led by Captain Sandhya of Military Police, displayed jointness, integrity, and synergy. These women soldiers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, deployed in diverse terrains, showcased their achievements in joint exercises and UN missions.

The Border Security Force (BSF) Mahila Brass Band, comprising three Subordinate Officers and 80 Other Ranks, made its debut at Kartavya Path. Commanded by Sub Inspector Shweta Singh, the band played 'Bharat Ke Jawan,' promoting Mahila Brass Band culture in the force. The BSF Mahila Brass Band also participated in the Beating Retreat Ceremony in 2023.

For the first time in history, the Delhi Police's all-women contingent, led by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Shweta K Sugathan, marched down Kartavya Path. Comprising officers, sub-inspectors, head constables, and constables, the contingent showcased the motto "Shanti, Seva aur Nyaya." The all-women pipe band, led by Sub Inspector Ruyangunuo Kense, added a historic touch to the parade.

The DRDO tableau, led by scientist Sunita Jena, depicted women's empowerment in defense technologies. Displaying high-tech systems developed by DRDO, including MPATGM, AGNI-5, and ASAT missiles, the tableau highlighted women's significant roles in research and development.

Major Divya Tyagi made history by leading an all-men contingent of the Bombay Sappers at the Republic Day parade. The Bombay Sappers, with a rich history of honors and contributions, showcased their role in building canals, roads, railways, and constructing prestigious buildings.
