To commemorate Ram Navami, throngs of devotees descended at Ayodhya's Ram Temple early on Wednesday, April 17. According to spokesperson Sharad Sharma of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), the nation is joyful as they celebrate Ram Navami at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, a holiday that has been eagerly anticipated for 500 years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his own message on Ram Navami that Ayodhya is going through "incomparable bliss" because this is the first time the festival has been performed there since the Ram temple was dedicated.

"Surya Abhishek" of Ram Lalla, the stellar event, will happen at twelve minutes past the fifteenth of the afternoon. It is at this period that the Sun's rays will cause a 75 mm 'tilak' on Ram Lalla's forehead. Visit Ram Navami Live to Get the Latest News!

Before proceeding to the Ram temple in Ayodhya, pilgrims would bathe their feet into the holy waters of the Saryu River. The ghats were crowded with devotees at night. At the Ram Temple, "Darshan" started at roughly 3:30 in the morning.

Anil Mishra of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust says that devotees will be able to enter the Ram temple with the surya tilak. One hundred displays installed by the temple trust and fifty LED screens owned by the government will both broadcast the Ram Navami celebrations. Spectators will be able to watch the celebrations from where they are currently.

Ram Lalla will also receive up to 56 different types of bhog prasad.

The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust stated that scientists at the Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee, have analysed the surya tilak timings grounded on the movement of the Sun. High-quality mirrors and lenses will be employed in an optomechanical system to carry out Ram Lalla's "Surya Abhishek," as per the Trust.

In order to protect worshippers from the sun, the Janmabhoomi Path now has a permanent cover, while the Bhakti Path also has a temporary canopy. The Ayodhya administration has also installed help booths at 29 locations around the Mela area, from Tedhi Bazar to Naya ghat.
