During the ongoing virtual 2nd Voice of Global South Summit, PM Narendra Modi championed the collective strength of developing nations, stressing their shared priorities for a better world. Emphasizing the growing voice of the Global South due to collaborative efforts, he announced the upcoming Artificial Global Partnership Summit in India.

Addressing the Leaders' Session, PM Modi emphasized the alignment of over 100 countries in the Global South, drawing attention to their unified objectives. He reiterated the significance of past collaborative efforts, such as the New Delhi G20 Declaration and India's previous Voice of the Global South Summit.

PM Modi recalled India's proactive role in advocating for the African Union's permanent membership in the G20, highlighting India's efforts in prioritizing Global South agendas in various international forums. Additionally, he stressed India's commitment to bridging the technology gap between the Global North and South.

Announcing the upcoming Artificial Global Partnership Summit, PM Modi emphasized responsible technology use and the need for AI to not exacerbate global disparities. The summit, scheduled for December, will focus on critical AI aspects, including responsible AI, data governance, and innovation.
