The temperature was considerably higher on Saturday. As to media estimates, the temperature in Bengaluru increased slightly from 36.6 degrees Celsius on Friday to 37 degrees Celsius on Saturday, but it was still rising throughout March. There has never been a March temperature this high in the preceding five years.
