The Tata Altroz Racer is set to launch in India soon. This model was initially showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo and later presented at the India Mobility Global Expo in January 2024.
This year, three new hatchback cars will be coming to India, each with its own unique features.
New Generation Maruti Swift: The upcoming Swift will come with design details similar to the Japan-spec Swift. Significant changes will be made to its body shell, resulting in a sharper design. The 2024 Maruti Swift will have improved dimensions, being longer by 15 mm, wider by 40 mm, and taller by 30 mm compared to the current model, while maintaining the same wheelbase of 2,450 mm. Its interior will be inspired by the Baleno and Fronx, featuring a floating touchscreen, instrument cluster, steering wheel, HVAC controls, and switchgear with a new design dashboard. It will be equipped with the company's new 1.2L petrol engine and mild hybrid technology.
Tata Altroz Racer: The Tata Altroz Racer will soon be launched in India. This model was showcased initially at the 2023 Auto Expo and later at the India Mobility Global Expo in January 2024. It retains the design and style of the regular Altroz but has a distinct appearance with blacked-out roof and bonnet, twin white racing stripes, black-finished alloy wheels, and a racer badge on the front fender. The interior will feature a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and six airbags. The car will be powered by a 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine producing 120bhp power and 170Nm torque.
2024 Hyundai i20 N Line: The 2024 Hyundai i20 N Line facelift, recently introduced in the global market, will also be launched in India. It comes with minor changes in design and features. It will feature a slightly updated grille, new cuts and creases integrating fog lamps, an updated bumper, and new design 17-inch black alloy wheels. Additionally, there will be several minor changes in the interior. There are no changes in the powertrain, with the same 1.0L turbo petrol engine producing 118bhp and 172Nm of output. It will be paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
