Sonakshi's Bold Stand: Breaking Free from Reviews and Awards Dependency!

Sonakshi

Basking in the triumph of her first OTT venture "Dahaad" and with anticipation for her upcoming role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Heera Mandi," Sonakshi Sinha has encountered ample peaks and valleys, rendering her resilient in the face of all experiences.

Sanjay leela bhansali's upcoming web series 'Heera Mandi' is getting a big boost with the addition of Sonakshi Sinha.

At 36, Sonakshi elaborates, "Over time, I've evolved into someone who isn't easily swayed by extremes. Neither do successes exhilarate me to an extent where I lose myself, nor do failures devastate me. If my work is appreciated, that's great. I move ahead and focus on what's next. I always give my utmost effort. If something doesn't resonate positively, it's a learning experience, not a reason to quit. I've arrived at that mindset."

As for seeking validation through reviews and awards, she reveals, "Actually, I haven't relied on them for a while." She adds that measures of critical and commercial achievement often perplex her. "Certain films I've been a part of, which performed remarkably well at the box office, received scathing reviews. I believe some opinions don't accurately mirror the audience's sentiments towards a film. I refrain from allowing those to influence me. I don't invest too much in reviews," she concludes.

Since "Dahaad" marked Sonakshi's inaugural venture into the realm of OTT, assessing its success was a fresh endeavor. Absent were the day-one figures awaiting her the following day. She expresses, "Honestly, I don't allow it to affect me... even during my theatrical releases, box office results didn't preoccupy my thoughts. My priority is to relish the work I engage in and glean new insights from my collaborators. This time was no different, just the usual excitement in the stomach."
