On Wednesday, Siddaramaiah, opposition leader and former chief minister of Karnataka from the Congress party, announced That this would be his last election. Representing Varuna Hobli on the board of directors of Mysuru Taluk, where he began his political career, he expressed his wish to retire from politics after representing the same constituency. He previously won the Badami seat in the last election.
