Shocking Confession in Shraddha's Murder Case: Accused Discloses Gruesome Details

Shraddha Walkar, made shocking revelations during the trial. Shraddha's father, Vikas Madan Walkar, testified before a Delhi court, detailing how Poonawala confessed to chopping her body into pieces and disposing of them in Chattarpur Pahari. The Delhi police found around 13 bones, including the pelvic bone of the deceased, at the location indicated by Poonawala. The court was recording the testimonies of witnesses in this sensational murder case.

On May 18 of last year, Poonawala was accused of murdering his live-in girlfriend, Shraddha Walkar. The suspect is charged with dismembering her body, storing the parts in a refrigerator, and then scattering the remains over the city. Later, some of her remains was discovered in a neighbouring wooded area.

Prosecution witness Vikas Walkar described how Poonawala led the police to the locations where the crime was done, including the toilet in their Chhatarpur rental property and the drain behind the Shamshan Ghat Mandir. Apparently Poonawala put the remains in trash bags and put them in the fridge. He hid the bags on a wooden shelf in the kitchen whenever his new girlfriend came to visit.

The refrigerator and several wood pieces with what seemed to be blood stains were produced as evidence during the trial. Vikas Walkar testified as to the authenticity of the items in question, and the court heard audio and video recordings of Poonawala and Shraddha.

The defence began the cross examination, but Vikas Walkar insisted that he had personally enquired about his daughter's disputes with Poonawala and that no one had influenced his deposition. He stated that Poonawala told him about his crime on May 18 at 6 o'clock in the evening.

On Monday, the court will hear more cross-examination. Given the shocking brutality of the murder, the court is taking its time to investigate the case and hear witness testimony to secure justice for Shraddha Walkar.
