The much-awaited pairing of actors Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon is set to happen in an upcoming film, yet to be titled. Kriti Sanon took to Instagram on Saturday to share the first poster of the film, featuring herself alongside Shahid. She also shared an exciting update with her eager fans and followers

 The film, slated for an October release this year, is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar, it also stars Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia in significant roles.

 

Sharing the news of the film's completion, Kriti expressed, "Announcing the wrap of our impossible love story. Our untitled project is set to release in Oct 2023. In the initial glimpse of the film's poster, Kriti and Shahid were captured sitting on a bike, facing each other against a picturesque sunset backdrop. Kriti occupied the seat while Shahid perched on the fuel tank. The words 'an impossible love story' were also prominently displayed on the poster. One Reddit user humorously commented on the positioning of Shahid near the fuel tank, saying, “Not them making Shahid sit near the fuel tank to make him look taller.”

 

Some other users on Reddit have expressed their thoughts on the film's poster, noting that they find it unusual for the male lead actor to be sitting on the fuel tank while the female lead sits on the seat. One user remarked, "Isn't it kinda weird that the male lead actor is sitting on the tank and the female on the seat? Kriti's body structure is actually looking bigger than Shahid's."
