In a surprising turn of events, Yuzvendra Chahal, excluded from major international tournaments, has made a stunning resurgence in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His absence from India's T20I squad and the World Cup left cricket enthusiasts puzzled. However, his exceptional performance in the domestic One-Day tournament for Haryana against Uttarakhand has grabbed the spotlight.

Chahal, long anticipated to join the Indian team for the Australia series, was notably omitted, raising eyebrows among fans. Instead, the selectors favored youngster Ravi Bishnoi. Nevertheless, Chahal's determination shone through as he took the field for the Vijay Hazare Trophy, delivering an outstanding display. His remarkable spell of six wickets for 26 runs in ten overs significantly contributed to Haryana's dominance over Uttarakhand in the Group C match.

During his bowling prowess, Chahal dismissed key opposition batsmen, showcasing his skill and variations. Additionally, Sumit Kumar and Rahul Tewatia also made valuable contributions, securing two wickets each. Despite commendable performances from Uttarakhand's Aditya Tare and Kunal Chandela, their inability to secure substantial runs led to a modest total of 207 runs before being bundled out.

Chahal's stellar performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy not only highlights his remarkable comeback but also underscores his unwavering determination and skill in the cricketing arena, despite recent snubs from international selections.
