Is Tesla Eyeing on India:-
"Elon Alerts," a Twitter account that tracks the activity of Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, also shared the news of his recent follower update.
On Monday, a screenshot of a list of 195 individuals followed by Twitter CEO and billionaire Elon Musk began to gain traction on the platform, showing that he had started following Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
With 134.3 million followers, Mr. Musk is currently the most followed person on Twitter, having surpassed former US President Barack Obama in late March. PM Modi, on the other hand, has 87.7 million followers and is among the most followed world leaders on Twitter.
The recent development has ignited a discussion on Twitter, with certain users speculating that it could be an indication of Tesla's arrival in India.
In response to the news, one user queried, "What could have motivated Elon Musk to follow India's Narendra Modi? Is it possible that a factory will be established there for $TSLA? Only time will tell." Meanwhile, another user was taken aback by the development.
In the past, Musk had declared that Tesla would not produce electric vehicles in India unless the company is authorized to sell and service them within the country.
Additionally, some users noted that PM Modi is committed to improving the condition of the country.
One user mentioned, "Thank you, Elon Musk! Our Prime Minister Modi is dedicated to improving the lives of our people and making our country more prosperous and progressive. Similarly, you are working towards creating a better future for today's children by striving to make the world more rational and free of 'wokism' and promoting a better society. Best wishes to both of you!"
As per a Guinness World Records report, Twitter has an estimated 450 million monthly active users. With an enormous following, Mr. Musk has about 30 percent of Twitter's total user base following him.
Back in October 2022, Musk took control of Twitter, boasting roughly 110 million followers at the time. Within the following Five months, his following had surged to 133 million.
