Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav issued a stern warning to the Congress, asserting that the party would "pay the price" for what he perceived as disrespect towards Hindu deities. Speaking at a convention in Nagda, Yadav emphasized that the ideological differences between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress were not personal but rooted in their conflicting ideologies.

Yadav questioned why the Congress consistently pointed fingers at Hindu gods and goddesses, framing the issue as an ideological fight rather than a personal vendetta. He drew historical parallels, stating that invaders had destroyed Hindu temples during periods of subjugation, but now, Congress was allegedly perpetuating a similar attitude by opposing events like the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Highlighting the significance of being Hindu, Yadav referenced Congress's historical connections, including the establishment of Kashi Hindu Vishwavidyalaya by former Congress president Madan Mohan Malaviya. He accused the Congress of harboring animosity towards the term "Hindu" and questioned the party's stance on issues related to Hindu culture and heritage.

The Chief Minister went further, urging the Congress to apologize for what he labeled as their "sin" and accused the party of contributing to the division of society. Yadav claimed that the Congress had the opportunity to prevent partition but chose not to, blaming their alleged pursuit of a vote bank.

Amidst these accusations, Yadav revealed that the Madhya Pradesh government was dispatching 5 lakh laddoos to Ayodhya as part of the preparations for the consecration of the Ram temple. However, he pointed out the Congress's refusal to attend the event, further fueling the BJP's criticism of the opposition party.

As the political tension escalates, with the BJP accusing the Congress of divisive politics and appeasement, the upcoming 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22 looms as a focal point of contention. The Vedic rituals leading to the main ceremony are scheduled to commence on January 16, setting the stage for a broader ideological clash between the two political entities.
