Avinash Sachdev Opens Up: Insights into His Journey with Rubina Dilaik

Avinash and Rubina

Describing his past romance with Rubina Dilaik as 'bachpan ka pyaar' (childhood love), former Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Avinash Sachdev openly acknowledged their youthful naivety. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Avinash fondly recollected the delightful moments shared with his former co-star, underscoring that all things have a limited duration. Avinash's eviction from the ongoing reality show, alongside Jad Hadid, took place earlier this week.

Relationship between Avinash and Rubina
Avinash expressed his past romance with Rubina Dilaik as 'bachpan ka pyaar'

When questioned about his previous association with Rubina Dilaik, Avinash brushed off the subject as an old matter. "Back then, we were just kids—I was 22, and if memory serves right, she was about two years younger, around 20," Avinash reminisced. He nostalgically described that era as a wonderfully enchanting phase of life, yet with the passage of time, the perception and intent behind the relationship have naturally evolved. Avinash further elaborated that retrospection highlights the stark disparity between youthful affection and the more mature love experienced later in life, emphasizing that the contrast is substantial.

The actor further elaborated, "Those were innocent times, both of us were newcomers in the industry. A fresh leading lady opposite me, and I, a hero paired with the leading lady. It's natural that certain things unfold; it was a truly remarkable period, a time of pure joy and I remained in a happy state for as long as it endured. However, this isn't akin to a life insurance policy that guarantees a presence throughout life and even beyond." Avinash went on to emphasize that every phase comes with an expiration date, and he takes this reality in stride. "It's like its expiry date arrived, and that's how it is. It lasted for as long as it was meant to, and it was a beautiful journey," he concluded.

Their paths crossed on the sets of Choti Bahu, and Avinash and Rubina relationship blossomed from there. However, their romantic journey came to an end in 2012. Subsequently, Avinash tied the knot with his Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? co-star Shalmalee Desai in 2015.
