AIMIM Chief Calls Maharashtra

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has described the recent incident in which a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable shot dead four individuals on a train in Maharashtra as a "terror attack targeted at Muslims." Owaisi attributes the tragedy to the persistent anti-Muslim hate speech and what he perceives as Prime Minister Narendra Modi's unwillingness to address it. Constable Chetan Singh, 34, pulled out his automatic rifle early on Monday morning on the Jaipur-Mumbai Central Express, killing a senior RPF officer and three passengers. Passengers Abdul Qadirbhai Mohammed Hussain Bhanpurwala (48), Akhtar Abbas Ali (48), and Sadar Mohammed Hussain (48) were killed, along with RPF Assistant Sub-Inspector Tika Ram Meena.

Owaisi expressed his outrage on Twitter, calling the act a "terror attack" against Muslims. He blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the disaster by arguing that it was the result of Modi's failure to prevent anti-Muslim hate speech. Owaisi voiced concern that the accused constable would be hailed upon his release, that he would become a future BJP candidate, and that he would have government backing for bail.

GRP commissioner Ravindra Shisve reassured the public that a thorough investigation would be conducted when a video surfaced purporting to show the accused constable near the dead bodies and maybe justifying the deaths. He said the police are committed to doing a thorough investigation because this is the first time something like this has happened on a moving train.

Authorities are working hard to reassure anxious passengers after the event. Shisve has promised that the police will investigate this tragedy thoroughly, looking at every piece of evidence.

As the inquiry continues, the incident has captured the attention of the world and sparked broad worry, prompting discussions about security measures and the need to combat hate speech to prevent future tragedies.
