M. Karunanidhi, a prominent member of the Dravidian religious group, made an unexpected appearance at a conference in January that was organized by a branch of the DMK, the ruling party in Tamil Nadu.

AI (Artificial intelligence) debuted in Lok Sabha polls

M. Karunanidhi, image was projected onto a massive screen, and he was decked out in his signature black sunglasses, white shirt, and yellow scarf. The present head of state is M. K. Stalin, Karunanidhi's son, and his father was quite proud of him. Regretfully, Karunanidhi passed away in 2018.

As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, political parties are using artificial intelligence (AI)-generated material to promote their campaigns on social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and X. Politicians can use this content to boost their own candidates, poke fun at their rivals, or send people specific, customized messages.

Experts predict that this election will see the application of artificial intelligence in a way never seen before. Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to be as important as social media was during the 2014 election. The precise way in which this revolutionary technology will impact voters' viewpoints is still unknown.

Political parties including the Congress and the BJP have posted at least four AI-altered images on their official Instagram accounts since the beginning of the year. One thing unites all of these fake news articles, also referred to as "deepfakes": they portray opposition party leaders negatively.

Artificial intelligence provided the voices of a number of well-known opposition politicians, including Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, and Arvind Kejriwal, in a recent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) film. One of the videos has undergone modifications.
