A 21-year-old Swiggy Delivery Boy from Bihar was detained by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police for allegedly peddling narcotics, and they also confiscated ganja and LSD valued over Rs 4 lakh. The defendant is a resident of Kadugodi. He moved to Bengaluru six months ago, worked as a food delivery employee for two months, and then started selling drugs full-time.

Akhilesh Yadav in Bihar allegedly sold ganja, LSD, and other narcotics to consumers and neighborhood peddlers in Bengaluru, according to Kumar's testimony to the police. According to sources with the department, Abijith started working as a delivery agent for Zomato and Swiggy before meeting with drug dealers who allegedly promised him lucrative pay for transporting illegal goods.

Customers would make orders with Yadav, who would then communicate the specifics of the order to Kumar. Customers paid Yadav directly online; it was solely Kumar's responsibility to deliver.
The CCB police recently acquired information on Kumar. On Friday, they detained him inside a medical store and took 12 LSD strips and 3 kg of ganja.

In response to a tip, police apprehended Abijith, a Bihar native, in Whitefield and found 3 kg of marijuana and two LSD strips totaling 14 grams on him. He was using the guise of a delivery agent for food, and Swiggy and Zomato T-shirts and delivery bags were also found on him. He had previously worked for the two companies as a food delivery agent. Still, authorities claimed he had left the industry and had been hiding out by wearing delivery bags and T-shirts instead.
