According to an Oxford Economics analysis report, the creator ecosystem of video sharing network YouTube contributed almost Rs 10,000 crore to India's GDP in 2021. During the same period, it supported over seven lakhs+ full-time equivalent employment in the country. Only a few healthcare providers have access to the capability right now. YouTube said it would collaborate with more medical institutions, including Narayana, Manipal, Medanta, and Shalby, to generate credible material in over 100 languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Bengali, and English. The business stated that the final translations are checked by both the developer and partner teams to ensure correctness. YouTube has launched a new learning feature called 'Courses,' which allows creators to provide viewers with multi-session video lectures for topics and add extra learning resources like PDF files in addition to videos. YouTube stated that video producers would have eight monetisation options, with Courses being an additional resource. Qualified artists in India will be able to give free or premium Courses to viewers beginning next year.
