Gina Raimondo, the Commerce Secretary from the US announced on 9th March 2023 that the US would be entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India which relates to semiconductors.
“We talked about how we will share information about semiconductors, about semiconductor commercial opportunities between our two countries, and how to have a continuous dialogue around policies that would encourage private investment in the semiconductor ecosystem,” said Raimondo while commenting on the semiconductor MoU with India.
