Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on his Telegram, “Joseph Biden, welcome to Kyiv! Your visit is an extremely important sign of support for all Ukrainians.” In his surprise visit, Biden assured the people of Ukraine of American support against the invasion.
