The current President of the United States, Joe Biden, has expressed his wish to stand for the elections again scheduled for next year in 2024.

What are Biden’s Ambitions?

President Biden says that though he plans to run for office again, he is not ready yet to announce his candidature. The head of state, who appeared in an interview with NBC's "Today" show before the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, said, “ I plan on running ... but we're not prepared to announce it yet.” 

Though Biden is considering contesting for the Democratic party in 2024, he is yet to make a formal announcement regarding it. Vice President Kamala Harris has also expressed her willingness to run for office alongside the 46th US President.

It is indeed worth the wait to see what the top White House advisers decide regarding launching Biden’s re-election campaign. A source familiar with the matter told NBC, "The decision part is over, but he resents the pressure to have to announce what he’s already decided."

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, a member of the Democratic party, is the 46th and current President of the United States. He succeeded Donald John Trump after defeating him in the 2020 United States Presidential election. 

Meanwhile, Trump belonging to the biggest opposition in the United States, the Republican Party, has already publicly stated his desire to run for the Presidential elections in 2024.
