Seema Haider

In a recent development, the Pakistani national Seema Haider has been taken into custody and is being questioned by the Uttar Pradesh (UP) police at an undisclosed location. Seema Hiader, a resident of Pakistan, has been at the centre of a controversy following her unauthorised entry into India, which has raised concerns regarding national security.

Heema Haider and her partner Sachin before falling in love spoke virtually through the game software PUBG Mobile. She later travelled to Greater Noida, where Sachin resided, by way of Nepal, where she had entered India illegally with her four children.

Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS)

The Uttar Pradesh Anti Terror Squad (ATS) on Monday detained Pakistani national Seema Haider, her partner and Greater Noida’s Sachin Meena and his father Netrapal Singh for interrogation, officials said.

Earlier that day, Seema Haider was given 72 hours to leave the country by the right-wing group Gau Raksha Hindu Dal.

In a video that was made public, the group’s national head, Ved Nagar, claimed that Seema Haider may be a Pakistani spy and a danger to the nation.
