 SPG Commando:-
The sudden death of SPG Commando Ganesh Gite, who was a part of PM Modi's security convoy, has been reported. While investigating, it has been reported that SPG Commando Gite was on a leave and travelled to his home village in Nashik, wherein the SPG commando died after slipping into the Madhyameshwar canal. On Thursday, an SPG commando who was a part of PM Modi's security team drowned in a canal. The SPG commando was identified as Ganesh Sukhdev Gite, who reportedly joined the CISF in 2011 and was deputed among PM Modi’s security team. He reportedly travelled to his home village Mendhi in Nashik. SPG Commando On Thursday morning, SPG commando Ganesh Gite travelled to Shirdi with his wife Rupali, seven year old daughter and 18 months old son. While returning back, his daughter’s leg got stuck in the handle, which caused the motorcycle to lose its balance. Unfortunately, the bike fell into the canal along with his entire family. Everyone drowned since the canal's water level at the time was also high. SPG commando asked the locals for assistance in rescuing his wife and children; however, he could not pull himself out of the canal. The rescue team got to work right away as soon as they received information about the event. Late at night, the search for the SPG commando was done but it was suspended as it grew darker. Ganesh Gite's body was finally found on 10th March when the search operation resumed in the morning. After the incident, the villagers were angry and distressed at the canal’s administration team as they were not able to rescue the SPG commando. “Why did the canal water not stop even after being informed about the incident? The incident was reported to the administration shortly after it happened. Though, water flow in the canal did not stop. Because of this, it was so difficult to find the SPG commando”, angry villagers asserted.  When Nashik Guardian Minister Dada Bhuse learned about the horrifying incident with the SPG commando, he rushed to the scene. When Ganesh's body was finally discovered, Dada Bhuse expressed his deep sorrow to the family of the SPG commando for the entire shocking incident. SPG Commando The 36 years old SPG commando was a CISF officer deployed to the Special Protection Group who participated in PM Modi's security convoy. Ganesh's wife has been horrified by this tragic event and his family members are likewise in deep sorrow.
