Despite the recent differences, US President Joe Biden has sent late New Year gifts to all of the citizens of India. In what appeared as another incident of Indians getting recognized for their innate smartness and ardent hard work, two Indian Americans got a nod for the advisory committee for trade policy in the US.

The naming of Revathi Advaithi and Manish Bapna to the advisory committee for trade policy on Friday has sent new waves of joy and inspiration to every Indian around the different corners of the world. As per reports, US President Joe Biden announced the names on Friday. According to the White House, the advisory committee for Trade policy will help the Government in recognizing the ins and outs before entering into a trade policy. The committee will also advise the Government on "matters of development, implementation, and administration of the US trade policy." According to US President Joe Biden, the advisory committee will have a total of 14 members. Revathi Advaithi: Revathi Advaithi pursued Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science before pursuing MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona. She was the only woman in the batch when she was completing her undergrad at BITS Pilani, which could be a "hard to digest" thing for many, but not for Revathi. She went on to work at some esteemed companies in her lifetime and drove them to immense success. Revathi was the President and Chief Operating Officer at Eaton during her 10 years of stay in the Electronics and Electrical appliance manufacturing company. She later resigned and became the CEO of Flex, a multinational diversified manufacturing company. She is also a Board Member of renowned companies Uber and Catalyst Inc and the acclaimed Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. Believe me; the list goes on and on without an end. Revathi was also named in Fortune's Most Powerful Women list for four consecutive years, in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Trust Bestowed Upon Two Indian-Americans by The US President Joe Biden. Much like Revathi, Manish pursued Engineering before shifting his focus to the business. He completed Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the year 1991 before pursuing MBA from Harvard Business School in '96. He started his career at Oliver Wyman before moving to McKinsey and Company as an associate. He also served as a Senior Economist at the World Bank. Manish is currently the President and Ceo of the Natural Resources Defence Council (NRDC), a venture protecting the planet's wildlife and wild places and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all living things. Before becoming the CEO of NRDC, Manish also served as the Executive Vice President and Managing Director for World Resources Institute, another pro-environment organization! In a career spanning over 2 decades, Manish has always focused on sustainable development strategies, rural development projects, and global poverty issues, to name a few. The inclusion of these 2 personalities by US President Joe Biden in his advisory committee for trade policy will pave the way for a new and defined structure in the country.
