Despite the recent differences, US President Joe Biden has sent late New Year gifts to all of the citizens of India. In what appeared as another incident of Indians getting recognized for their innate smartness and ardent hard work, two Indian Americans got a nod for the advisory committee for trade policy in the US.
The naming of Revathi Advaithi and Manish Bapna to the advisory committee for trade policy on Friday has sent new waves of joy and inspiration to every Indian around the different corners of the world.

As per reports, US President Joe Biden announced the names on Friday.
According to the White House, the advisory committee for Trade policy will help the Government in recognizing the ins and outs before entering into a trade policy. The committee will also advise the Government on "matters of development, implementation, and administration of the US trade policy."
According to US President Joe Biden, the advisory committee will have a total of 14 members.

He started his career at Oliver Wyman before moving to McKinsey and Company as an associate. He also served as a Senior Economist at the World Bank.
Manish is currently the President and Ceo of the Natural Resources Defence Council (NRDC), a venture protecting the planet's wildlife and wild places and ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all living things.
Before becoming the CEO of NRDC, Manish also served as the Executive Vice President and Managing Director for World Resources Institute, another pro-environment organization! In a career spanning over 2 decades, Manish has always focused on sustainable development strategies, rural development projects, and global poverty issues, to name a few.
