Largest NHS Strike:-   The healthcare system of Britain is facing issues due the healthcare worker strikes. As around thousands of nurses and ambulance workers were on strike due to their conflicts regarding salary on which the health minister said will put further pressure on the National Health Service (NHS). Largest NHS Strike Largest NHS Strike The strike has been going on since last year, but Monday's strike will be the largest in the NHS's 75-year-long history. Since last summer, about 5,00,000 employees, many of whom work in the public sector, have been on strike, increasing pressure on Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to address the problems and prevent disruption to public services such as railways and schools. According to England's top doctors, the strike will get more disruptive on Thursday, when physiotherapists will also walk out. Health workers would rather have a pay increase that represents Britain's worst inflation in four decades, but still, the government claims it would be unaffordable, causing additional price increases, which would raise interest rates and mortgage payments. The Health Minister advised people to continue using emergency services and attend appointments unless they were cancelled. "I have had constructive discussions with trade unions on salary and affordability and I continue to urge them to call off the strikes", he further added. The Nursing union initially requested a 5% wage increase and has subsequently stated that it is willing to meet the other proposals presented by the government. Still, despite weeks of negotiations, neither party has reached an agreement.
