Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir: Terrorist Attacked CRPF Vehicle

On Monday, in the Khanyar area of Srinagar district, a terrorist carrying a pistol attempted to attack a bulletproof vehicle belonging to the CRPF. Thankfully, the security personnel were alert, and they successfully defended against the attack. Fortunately, no one was hurt or killed during this incident. The terrorist fled the scene after firing at the CRPF vehicle, as reported by Srinagar Police.

A message from Srinagar Police on their social media account said that there was an attempt by a terrorist with a pistol to attack a CRPF vehicle in the Khanyar area. It mentioned that the vigilant security personnel managed to stop the attack and decided not to chase the terrorist to prevent any harm to people or property. The message also mentioned that no one was hurt, and nothing was damaged in the incident.

According to official information, there are currently 81 terrorists in the Kashmir region. Out of these, 33 are from the local area, and the others come from different places. In this year, 51 terrorists have been stopped in Jammu and Kashmir. Among them, 41 were not from here, and 10 were locals. Sadly, about 20 security forces lost their lives in attacks and battles with terrorists this year.
