The pilot who died as a result of the crash has been identified as Captain Vimal Kumar aged 30 years. He was engaged in teaching his student, trainee-pilot Sonu Yadav, hailing from Patna, according to reports of the local media. He has been admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Medical College Hospital nearby.
