Amidst Kaikeyi's demanded boons, Dasharatha's dilemma forces him to announce Rama's exile. Bharat, unaware, is powerless to object. Amid the chaos, Rama, Sita, and Lakshman willingly embark on a 14-year forest exile. Dasharatha's regret deepens as he recalls accidentally harming Shravan Kumar, an incident haunting him in his final moments.

In the kingdom of Ayodhya, the air was heavy with sorrow
and the people were in tears as they bid farewell to their beloved prince,
Rama. The recent turn of events, triggered by Queen Kaikeyi's demands, led to
King Dasaratha making a heartbreaking decision. To honor his promise to
Kaikeyi, he declared Bharat as the next king and sentenced Rama to 14 years of
exile in the forest.
The entire kingdom was paralyzed by grief, but amidst the chaos, Prince Bharat was not present to witness the unfolding drama. As Rama, Sita, and Lakshman prepared to leave the comforts of the palace for the harsh life of the forest, the citizens mourned the departure of their cherished royal family.

Meanwhile, in the palace, Dasaratha lay sick and close to
death. As he reminisced about his life, a long-buried memory resurfaced. Years
ago, when he was a young man, he unintentionally caused harm to a young person
named Shravan Kumar. This incident had haunted Dasaratha for years, and in his
weakened state, the king passed away with the weight of remorse on his heart.
In the midst of all this, Bharat returned to the kingdom,
unaware of the significant events that had transpired in his absence. The stage
was set for a tale of tragedy, remorse, and the beginning of Rama's arduous
journey into the unknown.
The Ramayana Series Part 4 not only delves into the
political intricacies of the kingdom but also brings forth the human side of
the characters, showcasing the emotional toll of decisions made under duress.
The story unfolds with a blend of sorrow, regret, and the resilience of Rama as
he faces the challenges of exile with unwavering determination.
