Following the recent incidents of violence during Ram Navami celebrations in certain Parts of India, there has been a strong reaction from Islamic countries, organizations, and human rights groups, who have criticized India for its actions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has released a statement expressing concern that incidents of hatred against Muslims and Islamophobia are increasing in India and accused the government of pursuing an anti-Islamic stance in politics. 

The Ministry has urged the Indian government to take strict action against those responsible for spreading hatred against communal violence and Muslims.

Similarly, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), a group comprising 57 Islamic countries, has issued a statement expressing displeasure and criticizing the violence and provocative actions that targeted the Muslim community in India and attributed it to the increasing Islamophobia in the country.

 

Human Rights Watch Director Condemns BJP's Use of Hindu Festivals for Votes:


Meenakshi Ganguly, the South Asia director of the Human Rights Watch organization, has stated that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in India is exploiting Hindu festivals to gain votes, leading to an increase in violent incidents. She also expressed concern that civil society in India is being suppressed while violence against minorities continues to rise.

According to reports from The New Arab and TRT World, extremist ideology is being spread in India to create a vote bank, which poses a threat to Muslims within the country. The Turkish news agency further reported that Modi is criticized for his failure to prevent attacks against minorities, misuse of religion by Hindu fundamentalist leaders, and increasing intolerance in the country.
