AIMIM's Asaduddin Owaisi accuses Telangana Congress Chief Revanth Reddy of harboring bias against those with beards and skull caps, labeling him an RSS sympathizer. In a recent altercation in Telangana politics, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi accused Telangana Congress Chief Revanth Reddy of harboring disdain for individuals sporting beards and skull caps. Owaisi labeled Reddy an RSS sympathizer during an interview with ANI, emphasizing Reddy's alleged bias against such appearances.

Accusing Reddy of having RSS affiliations, Owaisi claimed, "He (Revanth Reddy) is an RSS person, and he will be an RSS person. He hates people who have beards and wear skull caps."

Continuing his critique, Owaisi referred to Reddy as "RSS Anna," tracing his political trajectory from RSS to ABVP, Telugu Desam, and ultimately landing in Congress. He asserted that the influence of Mohan Bhagwat, the head of RSS, can be witnessed in the operations of the Congress headquarters in Hyderabad.

Reddy's recent jibe against Owaisi, insinuating the latter wears khaki knickers under his sherwani, added fuel to their ongoing political clash.

Amidst these verbal volleys, Telangana braces for Assembly Elections on November 30, with the counting set for December 3. The state anticipates a fierce contest between BJP, BRS (earlier known as TRS), and Congress. In the previous 2018 elections, BRS (formerly TRS) secured a substantial victory, claiming 88 out of 119 seats, commanding 47.4 percent of the total vote share.

This intensifying political spat between Owaisi and Reddy adds complexity to the upcoming elections in Telangana, shaping the narrative ahead of the crucial polling day.
