Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, praising the new home for those who uphold the Constitution and represent every citizen of the nation.

PM Modi responded, appreciating the sentiment and highlighting that the new Parliament building symbolizes democratic strength and progress while combining tradition with modernity.

Akshay Kumar expressed his pride in witnessing the glorious new building and hoped it would become an iconic symbol of India's growth story. Modi commended Kumar's thoughts, emphasizing that the new Parliament truly embodies the nation's rich heritage and vibrant aspirations for the future.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla shared a video of the new Parliament, calling it a living symbol of India's great democracy and a representation of a new and strong India. Modi replied, affirming that Birla's words would further strengthen the heritage of Indian democracy and propel the journey toward achieving goals and success.

The controversy arose as 20 opposition parties decided to boycott the inauguration ceremony due to allegations of Prime Minister Modi sidelining President Droupadi Murmu, India's first tribal head of state.

In a magnificent event scheduled for Sunday, Prime Minister Modi is set to inaugurate the new Parliament building. The ceremony will commence with an early morning havan, a sacred ritual, and a diverse multi-religion prayer.

Following these solemn proceedings, the formal opening of the Lok Sabha will be conducted by Prime Minister Modi.

However, the occasion has become embroiled in controversy as approximately 20 opposition parties have decided to boycott the inauguration ceremony. They accuse the Prime Minister of neglecting President Droupadi Murmu, who holds the distinction of being India's first tribal head of state.

According to news agency PTI, the havan will take place outside the newly constructed Parliament building at approximately 7 am. During the ceremony, the ceremonial scepter known as Sengol will be bestowed upon Prime Minister Modi by esteemed high priests belonging to the Shaivite order.

The Sengol will be prominently placed near the Speaker's chair within the new Parliament building, symbolizing its significance and authority.
