Open Fire at The Delhi Saket Court:-

In yet another frightening incident of open firing inside a Court in Delhi, four rounds of bullets were fired causing injuries to two people and leaving the crowd flabbergasted.

Details of The Incident

Disturbing visuals have been circulated in which a woman can be seen writhing in pain after two bullets were fired into her stomach. Reportedly, the shooter was a man dressed up as a lawyer, who purported to shoot a woman with whom he had a verbal spat, however, he accidentally fired at another lawyer. 4 rounds of firing occurred which left both the woman and lawyer injured.

The DCP informed, “Two persons, a woman, and a lawyer, have suffered bullet injuries in the firing incident.” The police were present on the spot but could not handle the prompt turn of events.

Earlier Incidents of Attack Inside the Court

In September 2022, gangster Jitender Gogi was killed along with two other men. In this incident too, the two shooters waited inside the Court premises dressed up as lawyers waiting to get a perfect shot.

Conclusion

There can be no other instance to reflect the loose security system in the district courts of Delhi. It is an absolute shame to see a crime being executed inside the doors of a Court of law.
