The list was revealed by Nomad Capitalist, a company that helps ordinary citizens and entrepreneurs to settle in a foreign land that provides the best of services in terms of taxes and personal freedom. The UAE passport ranked number 1 with a score of 110.50. It was the first time the document entered the top 10 list. The reasons for the massive jump are associated with the Visa-free policy of UAE, the possibility of dual citizenship, the tax structure within the country, and the favorable conditions for businesses. UAE allows dual citizenship for its people. On a scale of 10 to 50, with 10 being the strictest and 50 being the most lenient, UAE scored a favorable 30, which means the people in the country can hold dual citizenship with some restrictions. The country also exempts people from paying Income taxes. Taxes are also not levied on businesses, which makes the country favorable for startups and MNCs in general. On a scale of 10 to 50, UAE scored a perfect 50 on this aspect. A score of 50 means that the country levies zero taxes on its people. The reason behind the UAE passport ranking at the top can also be credited to the country's visa-free entry policy (into 181 countries). The rankings are published after an analysis of 5 categories, namely Visa-free travel, taxation of citizens, Global perception, granting dual citizenship, and personal freedom. With the UAE passport ranked the most powerful document worldwide, the country could see a positive influx of immigrants for better livelihood and living conditions in the upcoming months.
