On 3rd March 2023, a remarkable event to mark the launch of Villa Swagatam was held at the French Institute in India where Amala Dianor, a renowned dancer and West Bengal Trimukhi Platform members took to the stage in celebration of the new India-France partnership called Villa Swagatam. With this event marking the launch of Villa Swagatam, a network of pan- Indian residencies for housing artists from all over France and India particularly from the field of performing arts, literature, art and craft. The residences will be well- equipped with world- class infrastructure including libraries and rehearsal halls.   Launch of Villa Swagatam Launch of Villa Swagatam Villa Swagatam Briefly Explained Villa Swagatam is a bilateral partnership plan between the French and Indian governments to celebrate an exchange of culture along with community development. Stage II of Village Swagatam has also been planned in which residencies will be made available in France for India artists.
