Kabir Khan Reveals Candid Details of Marriage to Mini Mathur:-

More than 25 years have passed since Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur tied the knot, setting "couple goals" for many. Now, filmmaker Kabir Khan has shared insights About his marriage, including whether the fact that they belong to different religions posed any challenges when they decided to wed.

During an interview with Humans of Bombay, Kabir Khan shared details about his marriage to Mini Mathur and addressed whether the difference in their religions had presented any challenges. 

Kabir revealed that despite Mini coming from a traditional Mathur family, religion had never been a concern. Mini initially had concerns about convincing her extended family, but Kabir found it heartwarming how they all accepted him without any issues.

He elaborated by saying, "During our wedding, we performed rituals from both sides, mostly for our families. As an atheist, I don't personally believe in God or religion, so it was easy for me to accept it all. Although we've had our fair share of fights and issues, religion has never been one of them."

Kabir Khan mentions that their children have been raised with similar beliefs and values as him.

Kabir Khan also shared insights into how he and Mini have raised their children, stating that they have followed a similar approach to his upbringing. He mentioned, "We have never tried to impose our beliefs on our children. Instead, we have encouraged them to pursue their passions and interests, just like I was raised. It's important for them to find their own path in life."

Kabir Khan reflected on his childhood, emphasizing that religion was never a source of conflict for him. He shared, "In our parents' lives, I've never seen religion being a point of conflict. It was always a celebration of the best of both religions. Diwali, Eid, and Christmas were all celebrated with equal fervor and joy."
