Scindia, the aviation minister, spoke during the launch of a flight between Bhubaneswar and Rourkela under the RCS UDAN project.'There were just 74 terminals in the nation till 2014; this figure includes heliports and water aerodromes, representing a 100% increase in eight years,' Scindia, the aviation minister, remarked.According to ANI, the aviation minister added that a record of 4,20,000 people travelling in a single day was created before the epidemic. 'That record has already been broken, with four lakh fifty thousand people travelling in a single day. Each day in December 2022, more than four lakh passengers travelled,' he said.
