India reports 3824 fresh new COVID cases in past 24 hours which is 27% more then yesterday, according to the data. The number of covid cases are double from the past weeks in just seven days. the Rise in the graph of covid cases was shown in past few days.  The number of cases are increasing with each passing day.

With increase in number of covid cases, Kerala shows the highest number of covid cases in India. Kerala makes masks mandatory for people, with increase in number of cases. Which was then followed by Goa and North-eastern states such as Delhi,Himachal Pradesh, Punjab Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. As per the database the cases in this states were three times higher in these 7 days from past weeks. The number of cases were found relatively high in Maharashtra and Gujrat where the rate of cases has been slowed down in Gujrat but not in Maharashtra. Maharashtra sees 63% spike in covid cases where active cases increased to 3016. The cases are increasing in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu while there is a decline in rate in Telangana.


492 new covid cases in Delhi were found  with the positivity rate of 16.09%. one death related to covid was found in the city. Chief minister "Arvind Kejariwal" said that government is keeping an eye of the increase in number of cases and is ready face any outcome.


This was the continuous seventh week of increasing number of cases in the country. The all India seven day test positivity rate (TPR)  the percentage of sample testing positive of the virus has risen to 2.3% by Saturday by 1.4 % a week back. Same as the number of active cases has increased to 18300 from 9400 last Saturday counts, which makes people to start taking safety measures, wearing Masks at public places using sanitizer with social distancing.
