Helicopter Service Connecting Lucknow to Ayodhya for Ram Temple Consecration Announced

Helicopter services connecting Lucknow to Ayodhya for the Ram Temple consecration will launch on January 19, aiding smooth transportation for participants. Six helicopters, three from each city, will operate with a capacity of 8-18 passengers. Ayodhya Airport Director discussed landing logistics with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Secretary Champat Rai.

In anticipation of the historic Ram Mandir 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony, scheduled for January 22, helicopter services connecting Lucknow and Ayodhya will take flight from January 19. The Ayodhya Information Department has confirmed the deployment of six helicopters – three departing from Lucknow and three from Ayodhya. Designed to ease participant transportation, these helicopters will carry 8 to 18 passengers, requiring pre-booking.

The official statement from the Information Department outlined the commencement of services from Ramabai Maidan in Lucknow on January 19. The journey from Lucknow to Ayodhya, covering a distance of approximately 30-40 minutes, promises swift travel for devotees. Booking details and fare rates will be disclosed on the evening of January 16.

Ayodhya Airport Director, Vinod Kumar, recently met with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Secretary, Champat Rai. Kumar revealed the finalization of a list detailing 100 aircraft landings scheduled for January 22, with confirmation expected in the coming days. Acknowledging the limited parking facilities at Ayodhya Airport, Kumar emphasized ongoing coordination with nearby airports. He assured that while regular flights will continue, only essential visitors will be accommodated on January 22, as the majority of bays will be occupied.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader, Alok Kumar, disclosed expansive plans for a global initiative involving 56 countries. Invitations are being extended to 10 crore homes for the 'Pran Pratistha' of Ram Temple, showcasing the monumental scale of the event.

The consecration ceremony, led by Vedic priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi, will see the enthronement of Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Temple on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to attend the ceremony. Ayodhya, revered as Lord Rama's birthplace, holds profound spiritual, historical, and cultural significance for the people of India. The Amrit Mahautsav in Ayodhya, from January 14 to January 22, will mark this momentous occasion.
