Give Me Freedom or Death’- Donald Trump’s Thanksgiving Post

In a Thanksgiving-themed social media tirade, the former President of the United States  Donald Trump attacked one of the prosecutors looking into misconduct claims, including tax fraud.

The 45th president wrote on Truth Social on Thursday that "The Manhattan DA Case should never have been brought" and described it as a "total witch hunt."

The DA's "Star" witness, who has endured harassment and abuse and is frightened beyond comprehension, has confirmed our story, claimed Donald Trump.

Attacking the Mazars Group, which formerly handled the accounting for his organization, Mr Trump announced that the highly reputed firm that they depended on for their job should pay for the damages and difficulties faced by them and the case should be closed immediately.

Mr. Trump stated in another post, "Give me freedom or give me death."

After the prosecution rested its case earlier this week, the former president's real estate company started putting together a defense in its criminal trial regarding allegations including tax fraud.

The Trump Organization, which owns and manages real estate, hotels, and golf courses, is accused of defrauding the IRS for more than 15 years by misreporting bonuses as non-employee compensation and hiding executive perks.

Earlier, the Manhattan district attorney's office called five witnesses over the course of three weeks, including Allen Weisselberg, the organization's former chief financial officer, who pleaded guilty to the charges.

Weisselberg was called the "star witness." If found guilty of three counts of tax fraud and six other counts, the company could be fined up to $1.6 million.

Minutes later, Mr. Trump made a second appearance on Truth Social to criticize the justices and judges, claiming it was "almost impossible to get a fair decision on a case if you are a Republican."

The former president insisted that he "did nothing wrong on January 6th," characterizing the assault on the Capitol as both patriotic and peaceful.

He bemoaned the "rigged scam" that was the investigation into his actions. He declared, "The 'Justice' Department and FBI as CORRUPT...
