Located in Newport, Rhode Island in the United States, the Hall of Fame pays tribute to both retired players and other contributors to the sport of tennis. Aside from recognizing over 250 inductees from more than 20 countries, the facility also features a museum and several tennis courts.


The Hall of Fame has seen some of the greatest names in tennis history, but here are ten iconic players who have dazzled and inspired fans for over a century.


Arthur Ashe was a three-time Grand Slam singles champion and the first black player to be selected for the United States Davis Cup team.
