Fire Breaks Out in Bhopal to Delhi Vande Bharat Express!

Bhopal to Delhi Vande Bharat Express fire



Fire broke out inside a coach of the Bhopal to Delhi Vande Bharat Express when the train was crossing the Kurwai Kethora Railway Station to reach the Hazrat Nizamuddin Terminal in Delhi.


Reportedly the Vande Bharat coach was occupied by 22 passengers. No casualties have been reported so far. The fire had broken out in the battery box of the train and slowly it started gaining pace. All the passengers were asleep at this time but one of the railway officials happened to notice the fire. The Vande Bharat train was immediately halted in the Vidisha district. Appropriate action was taken at the earliest to prevent any damage.

The fire had broken out at around 6:45 a.m. The passengers of the affected coach were shifted to other seats to maintain a safe limit. “Fire brigade reached the site on time and the fire was extinguished at 07:58 am,” reported a government source.

Train accidents have started becoming a common phenomenon during the past few days. The Vande Bharat Express trains have been rolled out by the central government very recently. This is the first such minor incident on a Vande Bharat Express train.
