The most awaited world cup tournament is here. The FIFA World cup 2022 will be played in Qatar from November 20 to December 18. There will be the face of 32 teams who will compete in eight groups. FIFA is the world’s most-watched world cup in the world. There are Billions of football lovers who wait for the world cup so here it is; The 2022 FIFA world cup will be in Qatar on Sunday, November 20 th, 2022
at AI Bayt Stadium, Host will open the tournament with a group A match against Ecuador. After it, on the second day, England will face off against Iran with their Group B match scheduled to take place on Monday, November 21 st, 2022, with a 1 pm UK time kick-off. Wales’s first match will also be on November 21 st after qualifying for the playoffs.


However, the tournament was to start a day later with Senegal’s game against the Netherlands but Qatar’s match shifted forward to allow them to open a home tournament. The final match will be played on December 18 th at the Lusail stadium in Doha. The world squad will be announced on November 15. All the 32 countries will have to submit their 26-player squads to FIFA on November 14 th . This squad will be announced officially by FIFA on Tuesday, November 15 th . Wales is expected to be named on
Wednesday, November 9 and England boss Greth Southgate publicly name the squad at 2 pm on Thursday, November 10th.

Here is the details of the World Cup Group draw of 2022

The FIFA 2022 will begin with 32 countries’ teams in eight groups.
Each group will contain four teams.
Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands
Group B: England, Iran, USA, Wales
Group C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland
Group D: France, Australia, Denmark, Tunisia
Group E: Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, Japan
Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia
Group G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon
Group H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, South Korea


The format of the world cup will be like this-four matches will be scheduled to be played each day during the group stage, the matches will run over 12 days, and the round of 16 will see winners and runners-up. The first two rounds of matches will kick off at 10 am, 1 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm UK time. The kick-off times of knock-out round matches will be 3 pm and 7 pm UK time. And the final will kick off at 3 pm UK time. Well, the matches will be held in eight stadiums in Qatar that is AI Bayt Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, AI Thumama Stadium, Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Lusail Stadium, Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, Education City Stadium, AI Janoub Stadium.
