To ensure that all voters had easy access to polling stations, 737 theme-based and ethnic-model polling stations were set up. Additionally, 239 polling stations were made accessible for persons with disabilities (PWD).
The Election Commission of India (ECI) also made an effort to encourage young voters to participate in the democratic process by appointing them to run 286 polling stations. More than 11.71 lakh first-time voters registered in the state, making it a truly inclusive and participatory election.
