Directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film delves into the disturbing topic of how women from the Indian state of Kerala were deceived and trafficked into the conflict zone of Syria, to join the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Following the journey of four fearless female college students, the movie aims to bring light to the issue of the exploitation and radicalization of women in extremist groups.

 

V.D. Satheesan, the leader of the opposition in Kerala, has demanded that the release of the film be halted.
