Since
its release on April 26, 'The Kerala Story' trailer has sparked both reactions
and controversy. Directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah,
the film delves into the disturbing topic of how women from the Indian state of
Kerala were deceived and trafficked into the conflict zone of Syria, to join
the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Following the journey of four
fearless female college students, the movie aims to bring light to the issue of
the exploitation and radicalization of women in extremist groups.

Idnani as the three other women who join Fathima on her journey.
